Davenport, Elizabeth O'Geary
Davenport, Elizabeth Marquis, 80, widow of Louis Taylor Davenport, died Sun, March 7, 2010. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Oscar “Ossie” and Eyleen O’Geary Marquis. A member of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary, she had worked for Howard & Heafey florist as well as A Blooming Miracle.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Martha) Davenport, John (Gari Lynn) Davenport, Eyleen O’Geary Davenport, all of Lexington and Beth Ann Davenport, Louisville; grandchildren, Scott and Cody. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Louis and Tom Davenport.
Services will be 11 AM Wed. at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tues. at Milward-Southland.
