Cook, Wallace P.

Cook, Wallace.jpg Cook, Wallace P., 79, widower of Priscilla Cook died Sat., Aug. 6, 2005. Born in Tannersville, NY, he was retired from IBM and the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the Centenary United Methodist, the Robert M. Sirkle Masonic Lodge #954 and Oleika Shrine and their Oriental Band. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korea. He is survived by two sons and two daughters; Cheri (Dennie) Swetnam, Jasper, AL; Wayne (Jo) Cook, Lexington; Michelle (Ralph) Whitaker, Lexington; Paul (Gail) Cook, Springfield, KY; three brothers, Clinton Cook, Robert Cook, Bernard Cook; two sisters, Jean Pickens and Rose Haines; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother Gilbert Cook. Services will be Wed. at 11 am at W.R. Milward Mortuary- Southland conducted by Elder Michael Gowens, with burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Casket bearers : Adam Cook, Eric Cook, Brandon Cook, Michael Cook, Chris Swetnam and T.J. Walden. Friends may call Tue. from 5 to 9 pm. Memorials to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
