Once again in our 185-year history of serving families in the Lexington area, a new funeral home and reception centery has been open by the family that has set the standard of funeral services for six generations. Always forward looking, the firm has owned land in southern Fayette County for over two decades in anticipation of high residential growth along the Tates Creek corridor south of new Circle Road.
Since 1957 Milward Funeral Directors has offered Lexingtonians a choice of two funeral homes: in the heart of downtown at 159 North Broadway; and, our first suburban site at 391 Southland Drive, that was then the fastest growing residential area of town. Our third location at 1509 Trent Boulevard, just off of Man O' War Boulevard, will provide a second suburban location convenient to thousands of families. Just as two and three generations of families living in neighborhoods inside Man O’ War from Versailles Road to Nicholasville Road have made Milward Southland their preferred funeral home, we anticipate families in the neighborhoods outside Man O’ War from Nicholasville Road to Richmond Road will adopt our new third location as their preferred funeral home.
All three Milward funeral homes offer complete comfortable accommodations for visiting, sharing food and celebration of life services.
